Why would I register?

Registering makes it quicker and easier for you to use our site, eg

  • Your delivery and billing details are automatically loaded into the checkout process, which saves you time when you are making a purchase
  • You will be able to view your purchase history, which will be handy if you want to see what size you bought in those pants last time, or what the name of the polo was that fitted really well

If you have joined our mailing list or bought something on site, this doesn’t mean you have created an account or registered. You may want to create an account, so that you can access these additional benefits.

What are you going to do with my information?

We may use your information in the following ways:

  • To process and fulfil your order, including sending emails to confirm your order status and shipment, along with customary business communications
  • To verify your identity and to assist you if you have forgotten your username or password
  • To communicate with you and to send you information by email, postal mail or other means about our products, services and promotions, ONLY where you agree to receive such information.
  • To improve or update this website and our products/services.
  • To respond to your enquiries and communicate with you if necessary. You always have the choice not to receive marketing and promotional information. It is our policy to remove any member from out database or mailing list upon the members’ request. To unsubscribe from our email marketing communications, please log in to the site and in the My Account section, simply untick the Mailing List Preferences box. How do I register?

To register, go to the top of any page on the Rodd & Gunn website and click on create account. Enter in your details including a valid email address and a password of your choosing. Once finished, click submit and your account will be created.

What if I forget my password?

If you have forgotten your password, go to the login page and type your email address into the correct field. Once you have done this, click the link ‘send me a password reminder’ listed below. Our system will then forward you an email with your log in details attached.

How do I change my password?

If you wish to change your password you will need to firstly log into your account via the log in link at the top of the Rodd & Gunn page. Once you have logged in, click on my account, which will take your through to your details page. From here you are able to simply enter in a new password and re-submit your account information.

How often will you send me an email?

We’ll only send you emails that are necessary in the process of you using the site, eg registration, purchase, or that have important information about our products and offers. We expect to send between one to two emails a month, but this frequency may change over time. If you feel you are receiving too many emails from us –please let us know, so that we can try to tailor our offering to your needs.

Can I control how often you send me emails?

Whilst we will be sad to lose the opportunity to talk to you, you are able to unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time. If you feel you are receiving too many emails from us –please let us know, so that we can try to tailor our offering to your needs.

What is your VIP club?

With a purchase of $500 or more you will be eligible to join our VIP club.

As a VIP you will be:

  • Given 10% off all future purchases
  • Able to access exclusive offers
  • Receive invitations to our store sale events
  • Given advanced warning of upcoming sales
  • Given advanced information on our new season launches

Is my VIP membership valid with online transactions?

Yes. Once you create an account and your VIP status has been approved your VIP membership will register automatically every time you log in. You will receive 10% off for all future purchases. Please contact us at vip@roddandgunn.com if you have any queries.

What is The Pointer Club?

The Pointer Club enables you to receive communications about our products and offers. It’s a great way of making sure you don’t miss out on great deals, finding out when new styles are available, ideas for which clothes look good together via our outfits pages and the like. We hope you decide to join and that you find our emails helpful for when you go shopping.

What is your returns policy?

Rodd & Gunn is happy to accept the return of goods within 30 days of receipt. Please see our Returns Information page for more details.

I have changed my mind, will you let me return my purchase?

Yes. Rodd & Gunn accepts the return of all unwanted goods within 30 days of receipt as long as they remain unworn with tags attached. Unfortunately Rodd & Gunn does not refund shipping and handling costs associated with these items. Please contact us at online@roddandgunn.com to obtain details of where to send your return item/s. When will my credit card be refunded?

For refunds, please note that the refund will not show in your bank account until at least 3 days after the refund had been made by Rodd & Gunn. If it is not there after this time, please check with your bank before contacting Rodd & Gunn. For more information please see our Returns Information page or contact us at online@roddandgunn.com.

What information do I need to send with my return?

Goods must be returned in original condition, unworn and with tags attached. Please ensure you have your supporting documentation as proof of purchase. Please ensure that you indicate clearly on the enclosed packing slip your reason for return and your preferred remedy, ie whether you would like a refund or replacement and if replacement the exact details of what you would like, including the name, size and colour as per the information for that item on our website.

What is the cost of return shipping?

Supply error or faulty goods, we will arrange free replacement delivery for any goods either supplied in error or faulty upon delivery. Change of size or unwanted goods, unfortunately your shipping and handling charges on these returns are non-refundable. Rodd & Gunn is not liable for the loss of garments being returned. To protect yourself you may want to use an insured service to return your goods, as these remain the property of the customer until an email confirmation is sent to acknowledge our receipt of the item or items.

What if I receive a faulty item?

Rodd & Gunn will accept the return of goods delivered that are faulty within 30 days of receipt. Our quality control team inspect all deliveries from www.roddandgunn.com to ensure the goods you receive meet our exacting quality standards. However, if you do receive a faulty or damaged item/s please contact us at online@roddandgunn.com to arrange a free replacement delivery, or we will refund your purchase price if out of stock (postage and packaging for the replacement item will be at Rodd & Gunn's cost). Can I return or exchange my Internet purchase at a store?

You may return or exchange a product bought on http://www.roddandgunn.com/ at any of our retail stores (excluding Myer concessions), within 30 days of receipt. Click our Stores link to find the store nearest you. Goods must be returned in original condition, unworn and with tags attached. Please ensure you have your supporting documentation as proof of purchase. For refunds, you will be required to present the same credit card that was used to make the purchase online. If you are not the card holder yourself, you will need to have the card holder present when the item is returned, so that they can accept the payment back onto their credit card. International orders outside New Zealand and Australia are only able to return items by post.

How to Shop Online

 

Simple steps to shopping online

To shop online simply select the items of your choice in the correct size/colour. Once you are finished shopping you can then click on ‘view my shopping cart’ which will display all of your items.

If you wish to remove an item from your shopping cart simply click remove at the end of the product description.

Once you are ready to checkout with your items in your shopping cart, click the checkout icon on the top of the item description. If you have registered with us before, simply sign-in using your email address and password that you created for your account. If you do not wish to log in or create an account, you will be required to enter in your delivery and billing details.

You will then be taken through the payment process step by step. Simply choose whether you would like your items gift wrapped or not and then follow the prompts.

What if I can't find my delivery country in the list?

All orders for delivery to Australia must be placed on our Australian website.

All orders for delivery to New Zealand or overseas must be placed on our New Zealand website.

To which countries do Rodd & Gunn deliver?

We do deliver to most of the countries around the world. If you can not find your country in the delivery country drop down box please contact online@roddandgunn.com.

The item I want is sold out. Will you get more in?

Many of our styles are only available in limited numbers for a particular season. Our Essential Basics are available on going. Please contact us regarding the particular item you would like, including size and colour, and we will let you know if we are able to source it for you.

Can I modify my order?

Please be aware that once an order has been placed, we are unable to modify it. If for some reason you are unhappy with the order you placed, or wish to change it please notify us at online@roddandgunn.com.

Do you have sizing information?

Yes. All of our products have a ‘view size chart’ link on the product page. If you wish to view all of our sizing information at once, please click here.

Which credit cards do you accept?

Rodd & Gunn online accepts the following: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Diners.

Delivery

 

How can I track my order?

To track your order, simply refer to the Dispatch email you received to your inbox at time of dispatch. We invite you to browse TNT or UPS websites with the tracking number of your parcel. For more information (or if you haven't received any email to your inbox), please contact us at online@roddandgunn.com.

How long will it take me to receive my order?

We use every endeavour to ensure that your Rodd & Gunn apparel is with you 10 working days after you placed your order, for deliveries to New Zealand or Australian addresses, and within 17 working days for addresses in other countries.

When will I be billed for my order?

Your credit card will be charged for your order once we have your order ready for dispatch.

Can I have my order delivered to a different address from my billing address?

Yes. To have your items delivered to a different address, simply enter in the details in the shipping address fields when you placed your order online. For further information about the delivery charges please browse our Delivery Information page.

How do I send different items to different people at different addresses?

You will need to create a different order for each of the different addresses.

What customs charges do I need to pay?

Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.

Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.
